OUR APPROACH

Help without taking away a person's agency.

Eleven principles that hold every program, page and conversation.

  1. Listen before directing.
  2. Explain options.
  3. Do not force disclosure.
  4. Respect privacy.
  5. Center dignity.
  6. Build practical pathways.
  7. Recognize lived experience.
  8. Respect identity.
  9. Avoid assumptions.
  10. Know our limits.
  11. Connect outward when necessary.

How we work worldwide

We are a starting point, an educational resource, a navigator, a connector, a community, and a stigma breaking institution. Where programs permit, we provide direct, structured support. Everywhere else, we help you find services in your own country, and we say which is which.

Location privacy

We do not publish an office address, coordinates, maps of facilities, or staff locations. Images are checked for location data before they are published. Specific meeting details are shared only when needed, directly with the people attending.

Privacy by design

We collect the minimum needed to reply to you. We never require you to describe what happened. We ask for your country only, never your precise location, and every personal question has a prefer not to answer option. There is a quick exit on every page, and support pages carry neutral titles.

Accessibility

This site is built toward WCAG 2.2 AA. Every page works with a keyboard, a screen reader, and with motion switched off. Forms have visible labels and clear errors, and nothing important lives only inside an animation or a hover.
